The Literacy Crisis
Literacy is the gateway to learning in every subject and decides what kind of life you have. But reading scores are at their lowest, reading for pleasure has collapsed and devices have become the default for how students read and learn. School Library Programs
A program led by a Certified School Librarian that supports literacy instruction across all subjects, fosters a love of reading, literacy and learning and helps children & young adults evaluate what & how they read. The Report Cards
New Jersey regulations require School Librarians in every school, but it is not enforced, and New Jersey sets no School Library Program standards. More than 30% of School Librarians in the state have been eliminated and one in four districts operate without one.
